Danny Kuo is involved in all aspects of Belay Investment Group’s investment activities and portfolio management owned assets, focusing on sourcing and evaluating new acquisitions opportunities, business plan execution, analysis of potential operating partners and the performance of their underlying investments. Mr. Kuo has over 19 years of real estate experience in asset acquisitions, asset management, dispositions, leasing and portfolio management with a career track record that includes closing over $32 billion of investment transactions in major U.S. markets and leading asset management of 18.6 million square feet ($7.5 billion) portfolio of office, flex/industrial, retail, mixed-use and land assets in Northern California. Prior to joining Belay, Mr. Kuo was the Assistant Portfolio Manager and Investment Director of the West Region at Exeter Property Group where he oversaw acquisitions, leasing and asset management responsibilities of office, multifamily and industrial assets across the West Coast, particularly in California and Seattle. Prior to joining Exeter, Mr. Kuo served as the Senior Vice President of Investments & Portfolio Management at EQ Office (wholly owned office platform of Blackstone), where he led dispositions of over 65 million square feet of office, flex, industrial, retail, mixed-use, hotel and land assets. Prior to being promoted to Senior Vice President, Mr. Kuo served as the Vice President – Asset Management for Equity Office Properties in Northern California.
Mr. Kuo holds a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California, where he graduated with honors and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Kuo is also an active board member of the Fuller Foundation in Pasadena and the San Miguel School in Chicago.
