Amy Ko is the Co-Founder and COO of Belay Investment Group and oversees Belay’s operations. She is also involved in all aspects of business development, investment strategy and execution. Ms. Ko has 29 years of experience and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee, she oversees finance, accounting, reporting, operations and compliance, as well as operating partner underwriting. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Ms. Ko was a First Vice President of Finance at Arden Realty, a $5 billion Southern California’s office REIT, with over 18 million square feet, where she oversaw FP&A, developed reporting infrastructure and led corporate finance. In this role, she also managed all aspects of operations including major transactions and leases of the portfolio, as well as the merger with GE Commercial Finance in 2006. Prior to joining Arden in 1997, Ms. Ko served as a member of the audit team of Ernst & Young, LLP.
Ms. Ko is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and received her B.S. (Accounting) from the University of Southern California.
