Belay Investment Group is pleased to announce the addition of Yuwen Ou to its Accounting and Reporting Team. Ms. Ou will be joining the team as Vice President-Controller and brings her extensive 15-year background in institutional accounting and reporting to the position, serving an integral role as Belay continues to expand its platform.

Prior to joining Belay, Ms. Ou was the Senior Vice President of Finance at John Laing Group where she oversaw accounting, financial forecast, and tax compliance for the North America and Latin America Regions, and worked cross-functionally with the Primary Investment and Asset Management teams for a portfolio over GBP 567 million. She previously served as Controller at Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc., where she oversaw the accounting and reporting of the venture capital arm, which primarily invested in life science and technology companies. Prior to joining Alexandria, Ms. Ou served as Senior Finance Manager of Real Estate at Saban Capital Group where she built the accounting, finance, and reporting process for the firm’s portfolio comprised of 12 commercial office buildings, totaling 2.3 million square feet. Ms. Ou was also part of the audit assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCooopers, LLP.
Ms. Ou holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California and is a Certified Public Accountant with the State of California.
